  • Adaptation: This is the most common reaction and consists of developing an attitude of apathy and indifference, in which the monthly salary represents compensation for the “punishment.”

  • Frustration and compensating behaviors in more mature individuals.
  • They will create internal networks that work against the imposed hierarchy.

  • Treat people as equals
  • Allow them independence, autonomy, and agency
  • Encourage the development of skills and knowledge
